They’re with her… and want you to be, too!
Katy Perry and Miley Cyrus are doing their part to encourage millennials to vote for Hillary Clinton this weekend, with the “Fireworks” singer set to perform a concert at The University of Nevada and the twerking queen set to do a little door knocking in Virginia. You go, girls!
The “Wrecking Ball” songstress will go door-to-door at George Mason University, located outside Washington D.C., to get people motivated to head to the polls. “As an advocate for LGBTQ rights, gender equality and environmental issues, Cyrus will knock doors to speak to students about the high stakes in this election for millennial voters, laying out Clinton’s vision for an America that is stronger together,” the campaign explained.
Earlier this week, the Clinton campaign launched the “Love Trumps Hate” concert series, with performances from some of music’s biggest names scheduled for key battleground states. Jennifer Lopez will put on a show in Florida, while Jon Bon Jovi will rock the house down in Pittsburgh and Tampa.
“This election is one of the most important in our lifetime. Florida, home to one of my favorite cities, Miami, and millions of Latinos is a pivotal state in this election. It’s time to unify, support, and vote for the only choice that makes sense not only for Women or for Latinos, but for all Americans. Vote for Hillary. I’m with her,” J.Lo explained.
Meanwhile, the only celebs in Trump’s camp are John Voight and Scott Baio!
